  • Royal Mail make me cross!!! I took my ebay parcel down to the post office today - first time I've done any ebay selling this year so I wasn't really prepared for the HUGE amount prices had gone up - and had to pay £8.00 - for just the basic 2nd class service! Un-bloomin'-believable!

I'd only charged £4.50 for P&P. Luckily the item had sold for £6.50 so I still made a few quid profit but... it's just criminal how much they charge.

I just read fairyclicks comment about using a courier and so I checked connect+... I could have got my parcel sent for only 4.99 with them. I have bookmarked their site and will DEFINITELY check them out next time I have a larger parcel (and they do free tracking and 50 quid cover as well). Thanks fairyclicks for sharing that tip :A

I suppose if I look on the bright side, those few quid have taken me just over my goal for the month! yay! Now to keep on and see just how much more I can manage!:)
    NOV 2014 £151.74/£150 ... DEC 2014 £303.81/300 ... JAN 2015 £143.33/£150

I've sent a few items with collect+ last couple of weeks. Much cheaper than RM for items that won't quite fit through the letterbox or a bit on the heavy side.

I've got 1.73 cashback to add today.

Collect + is not the only parcel courier and others may be cheaper, or Collect + may not be prepared to courier your item, but another courier may, so .....

take a look at this thread

and I suggest Parcel2Go and parclemonkey. check these first before looking through MyHermes, collect plus etc.
