Feeling completely and utterly sorry for myself today and stuffing my face with chocolate! Been single for nearly two years and after a shove from friends to 'get out there' I met a guy last week whos lovely and started chatting. For the last week he's been very keen, calling and texting and has no issue with my two LOs. Last night he asked me on a date, I accepted but warned that I wouldn't be able to go for the next 3 weeks as I have students/babysitter issues(but put in a non scary way!) didn't hear from him for hours and then I got the text which reminded me why I've not tried to date...'seems things are tricky for you. I really like you but I want straight forward, I'm not sure you can give me that.'
I've met a couple guys who all say this, never got to a first date yet! But this one I liked....*takes another MASSIVE bite of chocolate!*
Damn so sorry for you. I would have babysat for you - would have been fun.
Such where people who could help out can't even connect.
Forget compulsory voting - compulsory attendance monthly at evening dance/ social/geeks/ pub/wine/ make and bake??? get togethers.
Everyone in the country young /old/ black white etc etc has to go wherever they are.
Maybe that way people's synergy/creativity and basic goodness would solve so much...including much of the isolation and lack of tolerance that seems to go with modern life?Flying Donkeys- Do no harm to others and you will benefit in more ways than one.0 -
£4.28 to add to the pot for today, which I got from Mr A price guarantee. Today I have also done £13.50 worth of mystery shopping but I will not actually count this until I receive it. My total so far for the month is £127.220

£15.70 in ebay sales. This is the worst I have ever done on ebay in 2 weeks. I had two small sales last week and non payers both. I had almost 30 items finishing yesterday and 3 sales.
I am going to have to reassess my ebay and see where I am going wrong.
so this months total will be pretty poor but sure we have to keep going.0 -
