Well I'm off the starting block - 30 day shred DVD I picked up at a charity shop for £1.99 just sold for £8 on a one day listing on eBay.

Going for a walk now (tackling the lbs too), then I've got a box of clothes photographed to get listing.
    I like to make money
Best wins: £3,000 luxury holiday, holiday in Cornwall, £250 Murad Skincare hamper, angle grinder

  • Well hello all :)

I'm a long time lurker and its about time I sorted my many debts out. Still not quite got the courage to add it all up yet but I'm feeling very optimistic. So this very welcoming thread has caught my attention and I want to join in.

I'm not sure how I'll go first time round so if you wouldn't mind putting me down for £100 for the month that would be lovely. I'm hoping once I get going there will be no stopping me!!!

Its a shame I missed this weekends free ebay listing but was working nights. I've got lots of stuff I could put on there to start me off. Is BIN the way to go these days? I'll have to get studying the threads for some tips hey.

I look forward to seeing everyone's successes on here in the coming days. Thanks for having me along for the ride :D

  • Wow how lovely to have so many newbies to the thread :D Welcome all and huge good luck with your targets!! I know it seems hard to make an extra £10 a day to start with but keep with it and keep checking in cos the ideas and motivation from the thread are priceless :D and everyone is here to help too so ask all those questions you have!!

Right i'm off for a catch up read, to check the mini challenge for this month and to see what else i can list on ebay under free listing - i have 4 listings left in my allowance and i'm going to find something to fill those spaces :)

    Happy April all :) xxxx

ETA @tractorpie - survey sites will always screen you out of a certain amount as they are looking for specfic groups of people however usually with a bit of trial and error you will find a few sites that have more surveys for you as a target group. The main thing is to be consistent in your answers don't be tempted to chop and change answers to suit as this often leads to getting offered less surveys in the long run!

Thanks for the tips, had a lot more success today :D

Hopefully will be able to post some totals soon! :)

    Hi Camillia

I'm also new I've been busy listing this weekend on eBay. Free listings are also on today for items over £1. If you list your items for 99p or less there is no listing fee at all no matter when you list as long as you don't add any additional features.

I tend to list larger valued items when there's free listings on if you opt for BIN you will be charged a minimum listing fee of 40p plus whatever you would have been charged if you listed the item as an auction listing.

I'm aiming to list a few items each day as and when I find things to sell.

Great to see everyone off to a start, even on a bank holiday! Worked out my shopping savings, £4.99 today, so my total thus far is £12.39! Next weekend will be good, myself and my partner are off on a mini break which we managed to get relatively cheap by trading in lots of clubcard vouchers, however we are also managing to eat out for free thanks to the rewards so cant wait to see how much that will total up to (staying away from too many drinks of course!)

Good luck everyone for the rest of the month!
