HSBC - Anyone had this problem

Hey guys,

I've just logged onto HSBC online banking, and overnight, my investments, about £400,000 of mortgages, some pension savings and about 8 insurance policies have disappeared!

I've spoken to them, and they're stating that it's showing up on their main computer system, but I want them back, if that makes sense!

I've had the same thing with my HSBC accounts - they sometimes disappear, to return the next day.

Maybe it was just a computer error. If is showing up on their main computers then it is probably just some glitch in their site, but make sure you follow it up so you don't get screwed.

Thanks guys;

The investments are worth more than the mortgages, which was my reason for asking there.

I don't worry if they're not on the screen, I just worry if they've disappeared.

They have borrowed them to pay the staff bonus.... Don't worry they will reappear in a few months time. :rotfl:

Hahaha, I am an HSBC shareholder, so it's possible :rotfl:

Just kidding, I've just logged back on, and they're back. It's not the first time this has happened, but I just wanted to check it's a normal part of the banking experience. I wasn't suggesting they've run with the money
