My council tax is in joint names , I have always been the primary name ...I have claimed benefit until now with my wife as the partner ....now my wife is working and i am NOT at the moment and have NO income would it be better to put her as the claimant and me as the partner on the forms ..or will it not make any difference ?

Doesn't make any difference. You are both liable for the bill so make sure she pays the bill and they won't come after you.

:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p
