you dont need to write anything
you are not legally obliged about anything until you excahnge

I would not instruct the solicitor to do anything until the survey has come back and its all clear, otherwise if you decide to pull off, the EA can do nothing, but you will incur the costs associated with solicitor in addition to valuation (unless you went for a fee free mortgage)

Thank you. I will inform the solicitor.,

I've now instructed a solicitor and informed the same to the EA. Also, the solicitor has my AIP and my deposit proof. He can confirm that I am able to afford the property.

The EA is determined to see my AIP and deposit proof himself. I have no clue why. He said he cant get the property off the market until he sees my AIP !!

I will wait until he speaks to my solicitor tomorrow.

Your mortgage provider should be able to fax or email the EA something to say you're able to afford the property (in principle, subject to mortgage approval).

They shouldn't have to give figures.

I did this the last time I bought.
