Help Please credit check

Could anyone help me i really have no clue what to do!! yesterday i recieved a letter from a debt collection agency it was a verification letter for someone with the same first name as me and a very close last name one letter different, i think we have previously lived at the same house as i recived letters for them at my old address but just returned them to sender. This morning i decided to do a credit check and have found her on my credit check with 2 address ive never lived at and her husbands name is attached to me. How do i go about getting this removed as it has brought my credit raiting down. please can someone help!!

Contact the CRA and advise them of the error.

You will need to talk to the credit report agency who issed your report.

Did you obtain reports from all 3 major CRAs?

ive just done credit expert as well can any one suggest what others i may need to do? thanks

Equifax! should also be done

thanks just done them but i have to send info into them to verify who i am so could take a while.
