Can anyone explain to me why I don't receive all my incoming emails, especially from abroad. If I need to adjust my settings or anything else could someone please explain how I do this. Of course, I can only assume that I am receiving local emails. How can I check what is happening.
Thanks for any advice coming my way.

The first thing that comes to mind is that yahoo! thinks they're spam. Check in your spam file and if they're there highlight them and click the 'not spam' button.

I don't know how to do this can you help me.0

Sure, I'm assuming you're using yahoo! mail by logging on to their site? Also, are you using the beta version (silly little man seen during log on) or the older version?

Yes I am using yahoo mail and probably the older version as I don't get a silly little man.
Thanks for your interest0 -
OK. On your mail page you'll see, on the left hand side, a folder called 'bulk'. Click on that and look at all the mail. These will be almost always spam (asking you if you want bigger appendages etc). In the old yahoo! mail you'll have to open any mail that isn't spam and then mark them as 'not spam' by clicking the button that says 'not spam'. This will then direct all mail from that sender to your inbox. This is a long way of going about it, so I'd suggest you go for the mail beta option which can be attained as follows;
On your inbox screen you'll see the word 'options' top right of the screen. Click that. The next page you see will have the words (in a purple box)
Yahoo! Mail Beta has arrived. Try it now.
Click on that and follow the instructions.
When you've done that, you can go to the folder (on the left) that says 'spam', highlight those that aren't spam, without opening them, and click the button that says 'not spam' above the viewing pane to allow mail from those senders into your inbox. Hope that makes sense?
