Extending a policy

Am I able to extend an insurance policy? My renewal is due in August, however I turn 21 in September. If I extend my policy my renewal will be roughly £300 cheaper per year. So would this be possible?

21 isn't a magical age at which insurance suddenly becomes much cheaper.
Neither is 25 or 30 either.

Short term insurance is very expensive.

Whilst some insurers will have a minimum age, so you may have access to more insurers at age 21, the difference in premium for 1 years' difference in age is probably not sufficient to make your plan worthwhile IMO.
