Problem with sky+ remote

I have set the remote to work the standby and volume on my tv with the 4 digit code from the sky website but for some reason it won't control the channel + and - buttons to turn over to different channels.

I'm confused lol

Sometimes it doesnt do all functions on all tvs, i have a panasonic tv where the same button doesnt work

You might want to try other codes listed as well.

For example my Toshiba one didnt work with the code given to me on the sky website, but another code for Toshiba did.

Worth a try I suppose?

You have to press the TV button on the remote before the channel +_ will change channels on the internal tuner. Pressing the Sky button will return control to the Sky box, and the channel + _ control will cycle through Sky channels.
Hopefully this post is not a Grandma, egg , sucking one!
