Cheap campsites in Yorkshire Dales / Lake District or North Wales?!

Looking to take my other half camping in May...I have a tent so I'm expecting it to be freezing lol.
Just wondering if any MSE'ers can recommend decent camp sites in the aforementioned areas? I'm on a budget at the moment but can tailor my budget around peoples suggestions.

Seacote is nice. It overlooks the beach at St BeesAutism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0
