Mature Student Help!!!!

Good Afternoon All,
I’m writing this hoping someone has been in a similar situation to me, and is able to offer some advice.
I’m currently 30 years old and working in full time employment however I am working in an industry that has minimal job prospects in the future and is not my passion.
I left school with minimal qualifications and want to go back to school and then pursue a degree. However as I’m sure you understand I have managed to rack up some serious living debts and thus barely get by on my income and managing my debts alone.
I can’t get my head around how I could ever reduce my debts to be able to pursue a student lifestyle.
Can I become a mature student and pursue an IVA or DMP. Will I have to wait until my debts are cleared before I can even contemplate pursuing this path?
I hope someone out there has been in a similar situation and can offer some advice,
Thanks for reading guys and gals,
Have a great day..
BB

Do you know where every last tenner of your income goes? If you don't start a spending diary and write down everything as you spend it (not at the end of the day). Complete this in full and post on the 'Debt Free Wannabe' board for comments http://www.stoozing.com/msoc/soacalc.php
There is no real point in considering a DMP, IVA or bankruptcy if you are not living within your means, you will just rack up more debt. Are you living in a cheap shared house, using footpower/ bicycle/ buses to get to work or are you living alone and trying to run a car? If you have your own place can you take in a lodger? Most people can save loads on food and energy bills, read around MSE.
You could get student finance AFAIK but you would have to declare all your income, and you very likely would not be able to get an interest free overdraft. You won't normally get finance for study lower that degree level, are you intending on studying part time or from home initially? Have you considered the Open University?Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0
