MS Office Shortcodes

Options
How do I access the shortcodes in MS Word and Excel?

I know the common ones like ctrl-b, ctrl-f, etc. but how do I use the others?

For example, if I click on "Change Styles" I get a drop down with "Fonts" among the options, and the F is inderlined. How would I access the Fonts option using the F key when ctrl-f is already used for "Find"?

Cheers.

  • In MS Word, Alt-f gives me "file", ctrl-alt-f gives me "footnote".

(P.S. There was nothing special about "f" in particular, it was just an example for an enquiry about shortcodes in general.)

The short codes as you said alt-f is file, so you need to use a two key press I would guess i.e. alt-(key for change styles) then press f when the drop-down pops-up . There are so many drop-downs now that putting a unique letter for each sub-option is not feasible.
