Thanks for your budget looks like i have budgeted fairly right, I have had a few people mention about all the cash back sites so will look into them when i move out.

Council tax was just a guess to be honest as i dont know what band the house is in yet, ah i did forget about that you recon the £180 cover it all or need to budget more?

Life insurance i get from work
I'm trying to remember what things we bought when we moved in although £180 should cover the things I mentioned.
Also with a new build you'll need to get items like roll holders, towel rails and bathroom cabinets/ mirrors.
Then all the other things involved with a FTB like cutlery, plates, cookware, vacuum. Making me sweat thinking about it lol.

Best advice I can give is if it's your first place, start buying little items when you see them on offer before you move in. We had our pot and pan set, knife set, microwave and kitchen bin before we had even picked a house.

Hopefully ive budgeted fairly well as if so i leave my self with like £70+ per week spare money after savings, bills and living.

I did think i would have to buy everything as i guess they put bare minimum stuff into the build, thanks for your advice. I have already started that so far got pan set, cutlery, kettle, knife set, dining set so doing well so far i think. Its just biting the bullet now and going to it i think
