Probably a daft question, but we've just bought a new house, will we drop straight on to the gas and elec suppliers standard tariff?

Yes, in a deemed contract with the existing suppliers, but once you've registered for an account with them and submitted meter readings on day one, you can commence a switch straight away-which will take 4-5 weeks.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
