Bought £5 worth of fcuk reduced stuff to get free wash bag and £5 worth of 17 to get fairy bag so got £5 voucher. Roc massively reduced ( but no free gifts in small local store ). Bought 2 Protient Fortify neck balm and immediate lift serum for £16 altogether - minus voucher £11 -qualified for another voucher and bought another neck balm for £1!! so effectively 4 roc items for £12. Thanks for the tips on this site everyone.

I was in Milton Keynes (Kingston Retail Park) today and they have lots of the ROC gwp.:T

I used my last four vouchers to buy ROC wipes at 5.99 leaving 99p to pay and the ROC gift for free.

However, do watch out for the MK voucher snaffler  as one of my ROC gifts had already had the ROC voucher removed!!  The seal had been peeled back - but in my delight at finding these, I failed to notice until I got home

BTW - the ROC voucher is valid until 31/03/09

Alos picked up a quantity of Basics mouthwash. OH is convinced I am expecting an apocalypse, but at least we will all have fresh breath and I will have beautiful skin, when all around us is carnage!!:rotfl:

Does this mean you can use it to get the olay face wash (2.99) free if the SA doesn't notice? Or can you use it on anything at all, olay or not?
    Thanks.:D

I think it would work with any product, but it all depends on the SA letting you! In my previous post I said I'd bought the Olay wipes (well, that's what I thought I'd bought at the time) but I've just had a look at them and they are actually cleansing cloths.

hey guys, hope everyone is well!!

just wanted some advice really....i bought some reduced botanics eye creams today (£1.50 for 2), but got home and realised that the BB date is 04/2007....what do you think I should do?

I mean its only £1.50 worth of stuff but its the principle of them selling out of date products thats wrong...I dont know whether I feel petty going in and demanding a refund? has this happened to anyone else?

i work in a well known store not boots and it does not matter how much you pay for a item if they have sold you a out of date product and not advertised the fact that it is out of date you will get a full refund, just mention trading standards and it usually has them quaking in the shoes.

My daughter bought some reduced follow-on baby milk in Boots quite recently and realised when she went to use it that it was out of date.

She called Customer Services and explained that she would have felt uncomfortable taking it back to the shop and they apologised profusely (didn't even have to mention TS) and sent her a £20 gift voucher and told her to take it back to the store to get it refunded.

this has happened to me with botanics aromatherapy stuff.
you can take it back to any store and get a refund OR like i did contact customer services on back of receipt and they will give you a freepost address to return the product and a copy of the receipt.
They will contact the store and also reinburse you via giftcard and possibly a little extra on top

For all those who still didn't join Boots mailing group, you can do this here:
    http://groups.google.com/group/bootsers/subscribe?hl=en-GB
Hope this group would help to share tips for shopping and newest glitches. Sadly, the first post of this thread isn't updated everyday, so I think this newsgroup will make it easy to acces any newest glitches and in time will be crowded as freecyclegroups :j Not every of us can read every post in this thread, so all the useful information in our inboxes would be very handy I think ;)
Also, moderators are very welcome :T
You need to have Google (gmail) accont to join, but believe me - it's worth it, and Googlegroups is much easier to use, access and enjoy than Yahoogroups :p
If you don't have Google (gmail) account, and don't want to create new email, PM me with your email address and I'll add you manually ;)

    QUESTIONS

There's an offer for Boots Value pack vitamins online. They are halfprice. Offer includes Boots Complete A-Z Multivitamins & Minerals. Was 11.99 now 5.99: http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1059164&classificationid=1044640 there's a voucher in health club welcome pack for "60% OFF any multivitamin". Few months ago it worked as a glitch: till gives you these vitamins at 5.99 before voucher and then takes additional 60% OFF original price (11.99), thus making it 5.99-0.60x11.99=5.99-7.19=-1.20. Yes, Boots paid£1.20 to take this away, if you find nice SA and buy something else, they usually don't notice it. Does anyone know is this offer - half price value vitamins – online only, or instore too? Does this glitch still works?

Also, looks like ALL Health club vouchers works in same way: someone reported that managed to get paid about 21 p buying boots ibuprofen liquid capsules 16 box. They are half price from 1.99 to 99. So with 60% off boots ibuprofen voucher from Health club till took 60% off the original price (1.99) 0.99-0.60x1.99=0.99-1.19=0.20. Watch for other half price or BOGOF products!
I have a 50% off boots allergy/hayfever voucher. These are bogof. What do you think the till would make of that?

Another question: From 20th May The next voucher will be given for a £10 spend and be for £20 off boots opticians and £2 off colour cosmetics (Maybelline & Bourjois).
Also 1/2 term 1/2 price cosmetics promotion running from 25th May and features 15 brands including Bourjois.
I wonder if we can use it with £2 OFF Bourjois voucher from parenting mailing? Who will be the first to try? :)

GLITCHES (Almost everything, except what is written in red, was posted before, so if you folow every post, don't read this!)

    1. Mouthwash glitch.
    2. Boots Expert dental products glitch.
    3. 17 cosmetics glitch.
    4. Roc gift bag glitch.
    5. Diarea tablets glitch.
    6. Olay Total Exxects (and maybe all Olay) glitch.

    1. ACM gives 100 points when you buy any mouthwash voucher. All dental products are 3 for 2 at the moment. If you buy 3 mouthwashes, this voucher gives 100 points on every mouthwash you buy (even the ones that are free as part of 3 4 2) so you only need 1 voucher. Cheapest items are Boots Basics mouthwash 71p or Smile mouthwash (small one, 250 ml) 99p.
There're two different vouchers on ACM: 100 point on any mouthwash and 100 points on any two mouthwashes. They can be combined, so, for example, you can buy 6x71p Boots Basics mouthwash, pay 2.84 for the lot (3 for 2 kicks in) and get 900 points! (6x100+3x100=900 points). However, neither me nor my husband didn't get voucher for "2 mouthwashes".
    2. There is a glitch on Boots Expert Dental products - not quite free but big savings. Some Boots expert dental products (look below for the details) are half price at the moment. All dental products are also on 3 for 2. Till gives you every third product free and then reduces all products (even those that were given free) to half price. So you pay only 1/2 of normal price for 3 products!
I got "Half price Boots expert whitening toothpaste" voucher from Health club, so got all 3 toothpastes (normally £3.99) absolutely free (3.99+3.99+3.99-3.99 3 for 2 offer - 3x2.00 half price offer - 2.00 voucher = -2p, so till owed me 2p). However, my husband and my mother didn't get such voucher. Warning: glitch works only for the products that are reduced to half price (for example, won't work for those, that are only 20% OFF). Also, this trick only works instore - online they calculate properly.
The products that works are: Boots Expert Whitening Toothpaste - Tube. Was 3.99 now 1.99 (online it's 3.19 now). This one: http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1080487&classificationid=1011590.
Boots Expert Disposable Dental Flossers. Was 1.99, now 0.99. these ones: http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1080460&classificationid=1044712&slmRefer=000
Boots Expert Teeth Whitening Programme. Was 27.99, now 13.99, this one: http://www.boots.com/shop/product_details.jsp?productid=1080484&classificationid=1044712&slmRefer=000
For all of them you'll pay only 1/2 original price and get 2 others free (or buy 1 get 5 free).
Hurry!!!! They are just valid until he 22nd May.
    3. 17 GWP fairy bag goes through FREE with anything (should be free
with any purchase on 17 of %5 or more)!
    4. Roc gift bag goes through FREE with anything (should be free with any purchase on 17 of %5 or more)! ROC Gift Pack (contains makeup bag, mirror, headband and £5 voucher) advertised in store as free with £10 (or £15?) spend on ROC but the bag scans through FREE with no other purchase.
    5. Diarrhoea tablet: these are for the boots diareze tablets, with 6, 12 or 18 capsules in a box. (the 6 is in a blue box, the rest are in white boxes). You can combine the diareze voucher you get at from this month's magazine (Half price Diareze tablets), together with BOGOF ongoing in stores at the moment, and you will get the tablets for free. HOWEVER, there is another 100 points voucher from the ACM, you can successfully use this to purchase 2X6 or 2x12 capsule per box, and got 100 points added! The order to hand the vouchers over is first the points voucher from the ACM, then the half price voucher from the magazine. 100 points voucher from AC which wouldn't work with the 12 pack last week. Some local stores does not show any of them as bogof !!!! Tablets glitch works on 6 and 12 packs. You only need 1 mag voucher for the 2 packs of tablets (not 2).
    6. If you ordered Free Olay Total Effects 7x mask sample, it should arrive with £3 OFF this mask. Actually this voucher works with any other Olay Total Effects (and maybe any other Olay) product. You can even combine it with £5 OFF skincare voucher, thus making items £8 or under absolutely free, or take items under £3 (face wash 2.99) and get it free.

    CURRENT OFFERS (Not everything posted)

3 x Huggies nappies (3 for 2) at the moment. You can use this offer and parenting vouchers (extra points on Huggies nappies) together. Even you can use more than one voucher (is SA don't refuse) in one transaction, for example buy 3 packs of Newborns Size 1 Nappies (3,50 each), pay for 2 (£7) and get 3 x 250 or 300 points. If you have Huggies brand coupons (from Huggies club), you can use them too – for each pack, thus making it down to £4 for 3 packs and get up to 900 points!
Huggies wipes are BOGOF, you can use Huggies club vouchers (2x£1) thus making it 69p for 2 packs.
50 points voucher from ACM for Boots Essentials for men and the cheapest item is soap at 49p.
"Free Essential Aromatherapy Body milk 100ml when you buy any other product from the range. Excludes miniatures." - ACM voucher. The Body milk is worth £4, and the cheapest item from this range is Awakening spray, 49p.
Estee Lauder gift set available instore only until the 2nd June with 2 purchases. Cheapest item is the sharpeners at £4.95 each. Don't forget to use 750 points parenting voucher on premium beauty Estee Lauder is included and also print off an extra points voucher from ac machine 150 points for over £20 spend.
