I was soooooooooo annoyed today after finding 8 reduced memory cards for £1.74 and then searching my bag for the 500 pts from the ACM when you by memory cards only to find they are out of date , :( gutted

I think I would have been still cheeky enough to try them. I would have put a magazine, a bodyform and a mini hair thing in my basket along with a memory card and handed over the 500 pointer, 100 point for bodyform and 100 point for the hair thing. Nothing lost them if the assistant then rejects the memory card 500 pointer.

The other thing you could also have done is to just buy them with your points. Plenty of people seemed to actually need them and were asking for them so you could have done a swap, they could have had the card if they sent you some money off coupons or some 100 pointers or such like!

Just wanted to query this with those who have tried this - the cheapest Mitchum deo I could find was £1.49, making it 49p, am I missing something?

Link for £1 off Mitchum deoderant coupon (print as many as you like). In combination with instore offer you get the deoderant for 14p:
    www.virginradio.co.uk/freebies/competitions/mitchum/about.html

Ok, not tried this yet this week but Mitchum spray was £1.32 in sainsburys last week and someone said their was stick Mitchum in Wilkinsons even cheaper.

Are those digital cameras any good for £40??

I have one Coolpix L4 and this is a great camera. Small, uses rechargeable AAA batteries, SD cards (which are quite cheap). It cost me 80£ at amazon.co.uk last september. So I thnik this a great price. And it is a Nikon, and with digital cameras it is always better to go with conventional camera producers for digital.

PS: I always google the camera before buying it and a few review sites come up with sample photos in different environments (portrait, night, day, interiors, etc). so it might be worth checking them before deciding on one camera.

The instore 'normal' price for the Nikon 7900 was £89.99 so where boots.com has got £279.99 from is anybody's guess. I must admit, I have my doubts about the Nikon 7900 at £40 after seeing the online price but perhaps somebody could confirm for us on here. I am only going by the list I wrote of what the SA was telling me. If I get time I'll pop after work tomorrow and report back if nobody else has done. The Kodak, Nikon L4, Pentax and Samsung cameras do go through at £40

The Kodak Z700 is without a printer instore, just the camera.

The SA said it was a case of once the stock had been sold, that was it. It maybe worth calling before making a journey. It is a countrywide sale, just not advertised at the moment.

Just a quick note but when i was last in my local boots the machine didn't take my card properly and it got stuck, went and got a SA and she opened machine up and got my card for me went to the other machine to put it in and it had an out of order sign on it, she took the sign off and popped my card in for me to get my print outs. This was very nice of her to do this but it does annoy me that i dont think the machines are actually out of order all the time, Boots are just not letting us have the vouchers!!!!
Would love to earn an extra £40 a Week. Trying to find ways to :-)

As a BOOTS ASSISTANT (currently off) by rights we are not allowed to reject any kind of voucher, its up to the till. As we scan vouchers the till 'decides' if they are valid the majority of the time. If the voucher isn't valid it will come up "voucher not valid at tis time due to.... (whether its out of date or wrong product has been put thru) If you think that a voucher or voupon as they are also called should go through then ask them to scan it as you had a friends go through yesterday... a little fib but its worth a try.
