Just had a call about the pamper treatment..... finally! The guy said that in my area (Preston) they can only offer Reflexology or Reiki. I really wanted a massage or facial which were supposed to be options for Preston. When I asked him about this he said that some salons have pulled out of the promotion because of 'no-shows' I personally don't believe him 'cos from what I have read on here I don't think that they have arranged enough treatments to have that many no shows!
The closest place they can offer massages would be 40 mins drive away which I said goes against my idea of having a FREE pamper treatment. So I have now asked for the reflexology and I had to tell him what times and dates are suitable. After telling him some times he then says that I can only go Thurs daytime or weekday evenings!!!!! So I tell him which nights are best and he now has to call the salon to find out what dates are available that suit me then call me back to advise me, then call them back to confirm!!!! WHAT A FARCE! Seems an awful lot of hassle for a 30 mins pamper treatment0 -

Retail eyes... Theres lots of info about mystery shopping here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=454437BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
I've been with Retail Eyes for over a year now and never seen anything for Boots
I guess I must just not be lucky.
Just wondering whether something I spotted today would work. I noticed some flight socks (not all) were on special offer for £9.99 instead of £12.99.
The ACM was giving out a 500pts voucher when you buy any flight socks - so I used this effectively getting the socks for less than £5 when you count standard points as well.
BUT in the new magazine, in the back is a voucher for 300pts when you buy any flight socks. When I found it I tried to use it, but it is only valid from 4th July. I wasn't going to get chance to go back to Boots so I just bought my flight socks.
But would it be possible if someone wanted to go after 4th July, get 500pts voucher from ACM, 300pts voucher from mag, and get the flight socks for less than £2 ??0 -

I have some of these vouchers from the machine for 500 points but they are only valid until July 3rd so it looks like the two offers will by pass each other, unless someone has a try after Wednesday with the two. Probally the machine will look like it has accepted both coupons but only put the magazine ones will go on.
Pity about this. I would have gladly passed my 500 pointers on but you would be relint now on first class postage and a following wind for them to get to you tommorow

The Essentials Aromatherpay Bliss (Orange) Gift Box definately goes through without the other two purchases is says on the ACM voucher
Today I got
Boots Mens Anti Persperant (2 x £0.99) = £1.98
4 x Mitchum (In-store Saving £1.00 = was £2.49 - now £1.49) = £5.96
Bodyform Ultra = £1.49
Essentials Extra Giftbox = £5.00
Total before deductions = £14.43
Vouchers Used
Mitchum via Virgin Radio Vouchers -£4.00
AVC Voucher EA Giftbox -£5.00
Over 60 10% discount on Boots anti-persperent -£0.20 (I'm only 39!!!)
Total to pay £5.23
Total Savings £13.20
Advantage Points Received 128
including 100 voucher for Bodyform
Unfortunately the SA used the Giftbox voucher first so wouldn't let me use the one for 100 points for spending over £10 as the first one had taken the total to under £10.
The girl seemed to have a good look at the EA Voucher and I was worried she would notice but luckily she must have "seen" the same as I did i.e. FREE and put it through anyway even though I didn't have any other EA products
Using the Mitchum vouchers in conjunction with their in-store saving means you get them for 49p each.0 -
Blimey thats a good shop Anic well done !
Just got back from Boots'ing at lunchtime and managed to get a Rapid White pen for £2.15 using the quit smoking voucher - but the packaging looks different to the photo on the voucher - its in a sort of snazzy plastic striped box - the SA said it wasn't the correct product and tried it anyway and it worked yippee.
By the way she seemed v shocked when the till spat out a leaflet after my receipt to enter into a survey online - she said random people get them and can win £1000 for entering - has anyone ever entered ?(or won !).
Just a bit worried they are targeting me for being a bootser and only buying stuff with glitches !0
