Does anyone know if for example you can spend points in a transaction and receive points back, i.e on the origins products if you buy two products and use points can you still gt the offer 750 pts?

Nope, afraid not. It's either or.

just wanted to remind people that this is the Boots thread and not an ebay one. The recent posts about ebay have been moved to a thread in the correct board here

Please can you keep this thread on topic - Boots grabbit bargains - and not go off topic into ebay discussions, thanks :)

There was a demostration for Origin product launch so lovely assistant in shop was showing me all the new products that came in, they all smell fabulous. Offer on for 750 pts when you buy any 2 products from the range. I bought two packets of mints at £3.50 each but points didn't add on, till assistant at pharmacy said she thought it was maybe because it was the new launch day and the tills weren't updated, but to ask downstairs. However, queue downstairs was massive and was in a rush, does anyone know if they can add points on at a later date? Would they need to refund the mints and put them thro again?or how does it work?

    Hi there -

SOunds like you had a very good first bootsing experience, well done! :D

Re. the missing Origins points, you can call CS, number in post 1 or on the back of receipt or Advantage Card. They should be able to call up on their screen the receipt for that day and see that you did not get the points you were entitled to. Just have your AC ready when you call and they can fix it.

It is worth trying diff Sanctuary products with your voucher. I tried the Foaming Body Wash and it didn't work, but the orange Body Wash (the one with bits in) DOES work, so don't give up on Sanctuary yet ;) .

Good luck and let us know how you get on.

HI! Apologies if anyone else has stated this (had a look back through the thread but couldn't see it!) regarding the above Boots Expert 'glitch'.

    I bought 3 x Whitening Kits @ £14 each (half price, orig, £28) and also 342.
I was expecting to pay £14 in total, as when the 342 kicks in, I was expecting it to take off £28 as mentioned above.
However.... checked my receipt upon leaving the store (!)

    Boots Expert Whitening Kit £28.00
    Boots Expert Whitening Kit £28.00
    Boots Expert Whitening Kit £0.00

Boots Expert Whitening Kit offer -£28.00

    Total to Pay .......£28!

So, charged full price on all 3, but given 3rd one for 0.00 to compensate the Half Price Deal, and then Deducted £28 for the 342.

    The Glitch must've been fixed!!!

Returned them today, with Receipt, and said I couldn't use them 'cos I have Crowns and didn't realise. (I just didn't want to spend £28, (still a bargain I know) but £14 would've been a mega bargain!)

Refunded without a problem, but asked for my AC to deduct points! Fair enough! Then.......Refunded £56....(2x £28)...Full Price 342!!!???

I wasn't trying to 'pull a fast one', even handed over my receipt, but Hey Ho!

Sorry for excessively long post, but just wanted to 'warn' / advise anyone trying this Glitch!!!
I tried this last night and it worked.....did take off full price and only paid £14 for all three:beer:

None of our local boots have the mags in & say they don't expect them in until June!!! Buy then they'll have fixed the diareeze glitch! Why don't they release the mags at the same time
