Also got 3 Clinique items to ge the 1200 points. But tried to use the parenting voucher for 750 points and it wouldn't work. The Clinique lady made something up about buying 2 skincare items from 2 DIFFERENT brands mentioned on the voucher ??!! I didn't want to enter into a discussion with her (my little one was getting impatient after I had spent so much time in Boots already!!) so just left it at that.

    So quite pleased with everything!:D
Grumpy SA is lying. The voucher says any two premium brands.
The voucher doesn't automatically go through and the points have to be added on manually so call up HO and explain what has happened and they might do it for you.
Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

    Good morning all :hello:

I'm afraid you lot are responsible for losing me a shed-load of lovely points! Yep, my endless talking about this fab thread has finally persuaded my Mum that she should stop borrowing my Boots card and open her own

I'm gutted.....me and my big mouth.

So, I'll just have to make up for this sad day by going on a scouting mission - we're going to a friend's house in Maidstone today (I'm in North London)....and there's Lakeside in between......:D :D

Any other tips for my trip? I may reach their house late :o

freebird. If your mum is 60+ she can get discount in Boots on their own products if she has a card of her own and gets it registered. See post 1.

postman has just been - grought me a little package....a free wilkinson quattro titanium razor (must have filled in a freebie thing thing) i got a womens one last week as well, just what i need yet another razor to find and find space for - i'm going to have to start shaving my legs three times a day at this rate just to get rid of a back log of half price/BOGOF/free razors! along with having 6 showers a day to use up rather a lot of soap and glory. i also reckon if i moisturise myself from head to toe at least 12 times a day by christmas 2020 i should more or less be getting to the end of my stocks - just off to clean my teeth for the 5th time today - having found a stash of tooth paste hiding at the back of the cupboard - oh god it's not right! (but it feels soooooo good!).

also having bought the orange Boots smile mouthwash the other day and tried it for the first time this morning it's vile so have found an alternative use - it's great for getting bird poo off the outside of windows!:D

Why on earth did you send for the razors if you didn't need them?

It was a limited offer and someone who needed the razor might have got one.

Tough! it was free i will use it eventually - it's not like it's going to go off, and as i have about another 50 years of my life to go i'm sure at some point i will need it! if someone else needed one then they should have got there first.

Why do we all buy things in BOOTS - because we can and a good deal is a good deal. next time i see an offer on headache pills shall i not buy them as i don't currently have a headache and someone else in the shop might have the migraine from hell!

on a lighter note now I've had my rant just impressed one of the SA's in Boots with my wonderful voucher shopping and finally got one of those nail varnishes in clear as i don't have any nails really so colours look daft.:p
:hello:  It's official I'm addicted to Boots - the total on my Advantage Card has gone over £300  :hello:

What is the deal with the Jemima Kidd nail files, do you have to use the acm for a voucher ,or are the points automatically added?

I have looked back through several pages and can't find the answer, i usually catch up on all the chat every day, but i seem to have missed this one.

Also is the shaving /gel offer still available on the acm.

Keep up the good work on here i have never had so many points.....until i discovered this thread, previously it took me at least a year to save enough points to get myself a small bottle of my favourite perfume, in the couple of months i've been reading this thread i've managed to get enough, to get the large bottle with lots of points to save towards christmas
  • I think they are automatically added but as I haven't bought any yet I can't say 100% HTH

the points are automatically added, there are no signs about it in most stores, you can also buy more than 2 - so if you buy four for £8 you get £10.32 back in points!;)
