    Hi, everyone,

I was just wondering about Boots own brands in terms of skincare. I've been "going with the glitches" in terms of skincare, that is when one brand is on offer, I stock up. But I would like your opinion on skincare. For example Time Delay is normally at least £5 cheaper than N7. Sanctuary branded skincare, without the offers, is quite expensive for non-anti-ageing skincare...

I'm 32, so I'm begining to worry about fine lines and wrinkles, what would you advise in terms of skincare (I'm obviously using perfect + perfect!!)?

    Thanks.

My advice is keep out of the sun, don't smoke and use an eye cream. I've done this and haven't got many wrinkles.

I've been using the clinique oily soap and clinique toner, then p&p and no7 blemish control but I now have much worse spots than before!! Really bad!!
I'm going to stop using the no7 products and see what happens using the clinique.

    Hi all Bootsers

Just had my vouchers delivered.......and I have a couple of questions

What is the huggies changing bag and is it worth getting?

The £5 voucher - is that for anything no7?

    TIA

    Jen

The Huggies Changing Bag is quite good quality, but I wouldn't use it outside -I've bought a fab Hopstar changing bag for taking out!
The contents aren't brilliant either; a sample pack of baby wipes, small baby wash and leaflets were in mine I think. Not really worth the amount they state but it is free with a purchase of nappies

Pretty sure use can use the £5 Parenting Voucher against any No 7 product, but I've used mine so can't check.
    The £2.00 Coin Savers Club = approx £22.00  :j.. The 20p Savers Club = £17.80.

I used some No7 bits and pieces a while ago, that came with a GWP....the P+P, and 2 moisturisers I think they were.....and came out in awful spots!! :o Never again!! The wipes really suit my skin, and I love them, but the creams just aren't right for me at all. (Shame really, as I have loads of sample sizes from all the gift bags!!)
2008 gig list... Nickelback + Staind (OMG...Staind ROCKED!!), Roger Waters, Infadels, Pendulum, The Police, K T Tunstall, Breed 77, Biffy Clyro....oh, and Motorhead :D
  • Hi,I took the advice of a kind soul on this thread who said that the T.D "time to moisturise wrinkle reducing night serum" had the same ingredients as the P&P.I have to say its done wonders,I'm 32 & I have really deep smokers lines either side of my mouth..I've now tried both products & they are fabby!!

Time delay = No7 in many cases. The P&P is the same as the Time Delay serum but for the fact the time delay has an added (very slight) fragrance.

Check the ingredients! Makes for a fun afternoon in Boots ;)

BTW the Time Delay Rejeuvenating day moisturiser is the 21st Century Beauty Bible moisturiser winner. It works for me! (see http://beautybible.com/libc.htm too for more skincare tips and advice).

    HTH ;)

Changing bag is a naff looking blue Huggies plasticky promotion (smelt funny too) - straight to the charity shop went mine! Only freebies were a trial pack of wipes and a tiny bottle of baby bath (although this lasted quite a while with DD as its VERY bubbly!). No vouchers or coupons. Def wouldn't pay £24.99 for it but ok as a freebie!

£5 voucher is for any no7, but works on 342. So you get one item full price, one item reduced by the £5, and the cheapest item free.

    HTH ;)

Changing bags make brilliant garden kneelers - waterproof and long enough to protect most of your legs - not just knees!! ;)
