How can you find out which Boots have ACM's? (My local doesn't, I went this morning :o )

    Arissa

    http://www.boots.com/homePage/BootsHome.html

Go to the boots home page. At the bottom of the page in small grey type is a clickable link - "store locator". When this page loads, you type in where you are in the town or postcode box. Then, underneath, tick the box called "advantage point machines" in the In Store Services section. Then you will get a list of stores near you that have the AC machines.

A qiuck Q, starting my new skincare today, can I put p&p around the eye area and is the uplifting day cream a moisturiser or do I to get a moisturiser to go on top? Also can the uplifting day cream be used around the eye area?

I have been reading the info on the boxes but can't find answers, thanks everyone, last exam today.

The uplifting day cream is a moisturiser - use in on top of the P&P. I use P&P around my eyes but not too near. I'm not sure about using the day cream near the eyes though.

Lots of No7 GWP at Meadowhall today, if anyone nearby is looking for gift! Also plenty of RoC gift sets, managed to get 2 with wipes and use £5 vouchers.

Got new Bourjois 1 second nail varnish (brush is great!) it was £5.50, but used £2 current voucher and £2 Parenting voucher, so paid £1.50 AND and offer with this varnish to get 150points, so in effect FREE!!

Tried to get Straightening kit on offer at £9.99, but wouldn't accept £5 Parenting voucher with this offer, so left for another day.

I went into my local Boots at lunchtime - there was only one lady on the No7 desk - a queue of 5 people.

About 10 P&Ps on a display right in front of her.

Watched her routine - greet, scan, turn away from P&P display to till, back to customer, bye, next please.

So I got in the queue.

When she next hit the gap where she turned to the till...

...I leaned across and got 3 P&Ps...and walked off.

Went to a normal till and paid.

The rest of the No7 queue gave me the most evil of looks.

    All in all...

    ...I feel rather naughty...:o

I love the brush on the nail polish too :D used my £2 voucher on a 2nd nail polish today (used parenting voucher on the first one to get the £2 voucher I used today hehe), 150 points each time. Even paying for it I think it's worth it, the advert drives me nuts but the product is great :T wish the colours were a bit more exciting though! That said my ones were very boring... plain beigy pink and a clear :rotfl:

Bwahahah... that's a brilliant and truely evil plot Duder! Well done on pulling it off :D I'd never have the guts to do that, wonder how many of the others in the queue repeated that performance ;)

  • After Last week not being a "Happy Bunny" for missing out on No 7 500 points on acm - i am now a "HAPPY BUNNY!" :j :cheesy:

Popped into small local Mid Sx branch and casually mentioned to a cosmetics SA that I must be a rare case as P&P has given me spots and need something to get rid of the spots and blemishes this has caused. She was horrified and said to either bring it back for a refund or call CS. She then very kindly walked around the shop with me recomended solutions to my problem, which I purchased with pigsback voucher :T

Secondly I purchased 2 Max Factor Items for £15 and thought i would automatically get the 500 points that are currently on offer. Didnt get them so she said call CS about it.

I did! And I got 500 points for the P&P and also advised to return it for a refund and to fill in a form stating the effects it had on me. :T

    And

500 points added for Max Factor as he said i should have got them. :T

Split above purchases - got two vouchers and a colleague just gave me another ! :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Having a good day indeed :j :D
