Which one? - there is the little one in Coppergate, no machine, another little one on the corner of Goodrunbar, the charity shop street or the one in the middle, bigger, two floors or the one on the big shopping park, is it Clifton Moor, cant think now . York has four Boots - my daughters at YSJ but I spend more time in Boots and the two big Tescos when I go up there tha in actually seeing her :rotfl:

Not a good day at all, no Roc gifts, no ACM, no nothing on offer in York store. Is it just me or is that store tiny? Ending up spending £13 of points on some suncream & a parasol for the pram as it was sooooo hot.

Next to BHS, sorry don't know York that well but maybe that helps. It had 2 floors.

I got a set of 3 Visiq curling tongs from argos. reduced to £8.++ but u may be able to get them cheaper at boots witht he 50%, parenting, etc etc (i dont really know, coz i am new-ish to boots) i like my visiq ones, coz they are ceramic and dont do much damage to hair.

i think i read a tip somewhere that if you style you hair right after washing and drying them, the 'look' holds for longer.

    hth.

My SIL has naturally curly hair and for years she had a frizzy problem but since she went to a hairdresser used to dealing with naturally curly hair she has been 100% happy with her hair. She uses John Frieda serum but doesn't use tongs only hair dryer and it always looks really nice.
GHD straightners are really good. If you like them why not go for the thinner option which would do the curls and would be ok to straighten as well.
