Lexmark x2250 help

Hi all,

Lexmark x2250

Last week we bought a computer which is vista but I can not get my printer to work, have been on the lexmark site to download what I think we need but it downloaded everything in german!!
Could someone please tell me if this model will work with vista or do I need to buy a new printer.
I am not very techie minded

Thank you for your help but It would not download it stayed on the "looking for download" for ages and ages (about an hour). Any other ideas anyone

it's the only place you will get drivers...I assume the servers are just busy or down

Did this problem get resolved? I have Vista and bought a Lexmark Z845 and keep getting a 'not communicating with printer' message when I try to print a test page.
The problem appears to be with the driver. I have tried re-installing it several times from the website but it just will not work. I have succesfully attached a different Lexmark printer belonging to someone else so I know it's not my laptop. Lexmark seem unable to resolve the issue and insist the driver is fine.

Any ideas?
