Hi guys, I serched my name online (via google) and find my details(company name, personal name, address, month and year of birth, nationality, age)unveiled on UKdata and companiesintheuk.co.uk. The only details hidden remaining was 'day-of-birth'. In fact one of them even reveal my current work title. I just cant believe this!
What can i do?
Cheers

If you run a company in the UK, there is nothing you can do about it.
It's part of UK company law, and it's there (among other things such as taxation) to try to reduce the number of scammers that set up companies, sell non-existent things to people and then disappear with their money.
It doesn't (in my experience) work very well.
BTW the site is registered to one Campbell Alastair at 3-7 Watergate, Grantham. It's probably an accommodation address.0 -
I am just suspecting some foul play.
How on earth could an external website know my job title(which has nothing to do with registring my company) and my nationality.
I can understand my house address and company name. Definitely NOT my date of birth exposed on public website.0 -
Mine says "Nationality Unknown" which suggests that your nationality was put on the original document making you a company director.0

Well just for you.....
I have tried to set up a new company with Companies House direct - ie not via an agent to see what info they need.
.....and suprise suprise it includes
Full name, Full date of birth, Nationality, and occupation.
Yes, I'd guess that a registrar company would want more "certified" data to cover themselves if they are acting for you - particular if you are using them as the service address.0 -
Hi Kay
You can request that a noindex tag be added to the page. We provide a Help page explaining how to request this on our website. Most credit reference websites will offer something similar.
ChiefGrasscutter is correct - the occupation is taken from the documents submitted to the public record @ Companies House (as are all of the details).
