Contact lenses and Stansted security

Anyone know how zealous they are at Stansted when it comes to daily disposable contact lenses at security? Their website says:

I wear disposable contact lenses. Can I carry spare sets in my hand baggage?
You may carry a couple of spare pairs in your hand baggage. The packages need to be sealed. Beyond that, you should pack in your hold luggage.

I'm away for nine days but I'm only taking hand luggage. Do they tend not to care or will I get the lenses confiscated?

you'll be fine.

personally I would put them in a liquids bag just in case, after all they contain a lot less than 100ml of liquid and you can have as many as you can stuff into a liquids bag which is gonna be hundreds of contact lenses

You'll be fine, seal them up, I dint think even a seperate bag would be an issue.

I always put my contact leneses in my liquids bag and split them between mine, DH & DD. Between us I've regularly taken enough for 2-3 weeks through Gatwick and Heathrow security.
