Tax Rebate

Hello, Last year I started a job, that I didnt continue with for various reasons but was there for less than a month, I was paid for the time I was there but they charged me £45 tax for less than a months work. My question is will I have to write to them to have this returned or will I get it back without contacting…

Normally they would want the P45. As JSA is taxable you will need to wait until end of tax year and you get your P60U.
