Need to buy a new laptop - help

My laptop is about to fall apart - i bought it in 2009 and its had some hard wear and tear but is on its last legs. So i'm looking for a new one but havent a clue what I'm looking for.
Current laptop is a fujitsu siemens amilo li 2735 with 160GB hard drive, 2GB memory, Intel 2 core due processor, 2mb processor cache, 1.83GHz processor speed. Been really happy with it so would like something as good as.

I'm a big fan of Dell Outlet laptops...something for everyone whether you want a basic unit or one with a decent graphics card for gaming.
All depends what your budget is and what you want to use it for.

Not sure re budget as lost my job on Monday and can't really afford to get another one but will need one for job hunting etc, so cheap as poss but with good spec
