Wondering if anyone had any opinions on which to get? The nexus doesnt seem to have an sd card slot where the asus does but Ive been told by a few people that the nexus is much faster. Any thoughts would be much appreciated! I want it for gaming, watching films, reading books, surfing the net etc. Thanks.

The Nexus family of devices probably give the best value for money.
Personally the lack of an SD card slot does not bother me. Whether it would bother YOU only you can say.0
