They look SOOO good! Yorkshire puds are my very favourite... Mmmm - I almost want to lick the screen!
PC is a bit beyond my price range at the moment, but will definitely keep them in mind. If you like cooking, I do think it's a false economy to buy cheapo basic equipment. I'm aiming to buy a few "Key" bits every few months.
Simply Be (online catalogue) recently had a good deal on a set of Tefal's new non-stick saucepan range, so I treated myself - they've halved the amount of fat I need to use in the pan and are worth every penny.
The Yorkshires pan MIGHT have to be my next aim...0 -
The other tool I could not live without now is the very strange looking masher - it is unbelievable and for the first time in over 40 years I can make lumpless mash!
My OH loves lumpy mashI have to deliberately leave it half mashed or he complains! :rotfl:
Them Yorkies look lush. I'm wondering if I've time to make some for dinner tonight (which is already halfway ready!)0 -
Wow, they look lovely. I love Yorkshires but I rarely make them as I don't like messing with trays of hot fat in my tiny kitchen. However, that looks very tempting ... We have a Pampered Chef person who occasionally sets up at work so I'll definitely have a look next time.0

I love pampered chef i took abit of a hissy fit a few years ago after having to replace oven trays for the 100th time and decided i'd get pampered chef ones to match the tray i won at a party, and there fantastic, i have 4 flat trays and a roaster and altho they don't look shiney anymore they have years left in them, much better than paying £3 for ones that barely last 6 months.
This is now on my wishlist
I got mine from ebay and as i was ordering alot saved £30 on the rrp.DEC GC £463.67/£450

I love PC stuff. I have 2 stoneware roasting dishes and the muffin tray which I use for Yorkshires. Other things i have are from the whole range, The glass 2 litre batter bowl is so useful, as are the lidded glass bowls (think they're called the prep bowls). I also have the bamboo utensils which are fab, they don't stain and can be put in the dishwasher.
I use my microwave dish and measuring spoons almost daily. The spoons fit inside spice jars, genius! The pie dish is amazing, my pies never stick and I don't need to grease it.
I had a party so got lots of bits at a huge discount. I did add it up and had over £400 worth of stuff, but had only spent about £100 in total.
The only thing I have from PC which I don't like is the chopper. Many people rave about theirs but like Penny Pincher, I'm not impressed. I'd rather use a knife.0 -
i find the chopper good for nuts, i like chopped hazelnuts in my porridge!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!DFW Long Hauler Supporter No 1500

I bought a Lakeland version for about £3 in a charity shop but it tells you to never put it into a pre-heated oven - you have to turn the oven on with the dish already in it. Which isn't great when you want to make something like chelsea buns where you need to prove the dough in the dish you're going to bake it in. Apparently the Pampered Chef version can go straight into a hot oven.0
