Pampered Chef-Pricey But Good!

Penny-Pincher!!
Hi Guys!
We were bought a Pampered Chef bun tin which we use primarily for yorkshire puddings and just wanted to express our delight with it. I know they are ever so expensive, but our friend got it when they had 25% off, so I think about £35 still:eek::eek::eek:
However.....you need NO oil (which is so expensive atm) and you dont heat the pan up beforehand, so you don't have to have the oven on for 20 mins or so to heat the oil up in the tins. Usually the oven goes on for a max of 10 mins beforehand. OH has now taken over 99% of the cooking as I'm unable to do very much these days (although I do delegate well
)and I have always done the yorkshires, but he swears by the Rachel Allen recipe and they have turned out well each time. He cooks a batch, and as its only DD & I as he's gluten free, he freezes them and they are like fresh each time from the freezer.
We also bought a choppy thing from PC and its good for chopping onion, carrot, garlic, peppers etc, but again, you need some whack behind you to do it, so I'm unable to use it as it hurt my hand last time.
I will state that you only have to wipe it with a paper towel after each use and never use washing liquid. The first time you use it, you brush lightly with oil but thats it!
Has anyone else used and liked their products?

I would like to have some of their products, but its definatley not gonna happen anytime very soon. My SIL used to be an agent and they have bits n bobs, but they found not many people ordered due to initial cost. They have since packed up.

Thats a shame. I have even looked on Ebay for secondhand ones, but they are still very expensive. Maybe they do vouchers or something so people could buy you a few quid at a time for birthdays, Xmas etc and you'll get enough without you spending out the initial outlay? To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it,requires brains!FEB GC/DIESEL £200/4 WEEKS0

P-P, they look great - but I see there's one missing in the top photo

Their products are good, although expensive. We have the stoneware small baking tray. When I say small I mean small it fits two chicken breast side by side
I have had the oven tray and well and its the only one I've ever had which dosn't bang and warp in the oven.0 -

I dont know where that one went;)
Honestly, it HAS to go in cold. OH tried to prove them wrong a while back and put the ovenware in oven for 10 minutes to heat up and they actually came out flat and heavy. Very strange how it works! I think its the no oil thing too as oil is so expensive now, even for the value brands at £1.40+ a litre.

I have the large oval roaster. I don't use it loads, and it was expensive, but it does make a mean casserole, lasagne etc. and very easy. Just shove it all in, and it always cooks just right somehow.
Haven't bought anything else due to cost / amount of use but I agree v good quality stuff.
Tell you what though, it's heavy! And when it's full of food, even more of a weight!Bossymoo

I love all their products! Only have the pizza stone - which is great for baking scones or rock cakes as well- and a stoneware roasting dish, which makes a chicken taste amazing. Just bung it in and shove in the oven, it comes out tasting fantastic! The other tool I could not live without now is the very strange looking masher - it is unbelievable and for the first time in over 40 years I can make lumpless mash!0
