hi could any one help me with this? i bought a £3000 guitar in nov 2011. and i'v just discovered that they is a problem with the built in pick up(it's not producing the full sound on the last fret) i'v contacted the manufacturer and they say its always been part of the design since 2003. and the retailer says my 12 months warranty is finished.
now you get 12 years manufacturers warranty, so my concern is that
should i have been made aware of this fault before i purchased the guitar under the sales act. and i'm i entitled to my money back?
because no one i.e the dealer or retailer did not tell me what so ever about this fault?

So nothing faulty with it if it's just the design.
Doubt you use the last fret much anyway.

If it's part of the design it's not faulty so the retailer has nothing to tell you regarding it and the fact you have had it since 2011 means you accepted it a long time ago.

When spending 3 grand on something you should research all aspects before purchase.
