Entry
To play, simply visit https://www.dfds.co.uk/win, enter your details or login with Facebook and start the lucky dip when instructed. You will be entered into a draw to win a prize. There instant win prizes available, in addition you will be eligible to win the grand prize. The winners of any prizes will be selected at random.
The Lucky Dip competition runs from 18 March 2013 to 30 April 2013.
You must be 16 years of age and over and can participate in the competition with a maximum of one entry per person.
There is no purchase required to take part in the competition. Your statutory rights are not affected
Employees of DFDS Group and its subsidiaries may not participate.
Prize winners will be notified of instant win prizes both via the Lucky Dip game web page and via email. The winner of the grand prize will be notified by email.
All prizes are redeemed by using a code which is presented to the winner, which must be used when making a booking. Bookings must be made in accordance with the instructions within the game web page.
Prizes
There are 3 different instant win prizes.
A free return ferry crossing from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais for a car and up to 9 passengers. There are 100 free crossings to be won.
50% off a full priced single or return crossing from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais for car and up to 9 passengers. There are 500 50% discounts to be won.
20% off a full priced single or return crossing from Dover to Dunkirk or Calais for car and up to 9 passengers. There are 50,000 20% discounts to be won.
There is 1 grand prize for 1 winner. This prize entitles the winner to travel on the Dover to Dunkirk and Dover to Calais routes with a car and up to 3 other passengers travelling within the same car for free for 1 year from the date they are notified of winning, subject to availability and with a notice period of 28 days prior to travel to guarantee that the booking can be processed in time for travel.
Prize Terms & Conditions
Bookings will only be accepted subject to these Terms and conditions.
These Terms & Conditions are in addition to and, should be read together with DFDS Seaways General Booking Terms & Conditions of Carriage. For more information visit https://www.dfds.co.uk/terms.
There can only be one winner per household and the prizes are non-transferable.
Prizes must be declared at the time of booking and cannot be redeemed retrospectively.
Prizes must be booked by 30 April 2013, for travel before 23 July 2013, excluding 27 March 2013 – 15 April 2013 and 23 May 2013 to 3 June 2013.
Bookings must be a minimum of 24 hours prior to travel.
Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any offer or discount.
Cancelled bookings will be charged at 100% of the total fare.
Alterations to a confirmed booking are subject to an amendment fee.
No refunds are allowed on lost or unused prizes.
Prizes have no equivalent cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Vehicles allowed for prize bookings are: Car < 1.85m x 4.5m, Car <2.35m x 6m, Motorcycle and Motorcycle with side car.
An amendment fee of £10 per leg will apply to your booking if you wish to change any details once booked.
Doubt or Disagreement
In case of doubt or disagreement about the competition terms, DFDS Seaways will determine the interpretation and settle questions according to its own judgment.
On this occasion or on the basis of the execution of the competition, insufficient publication, or other conditions, compensation claims cannot be exercised against DFDS Seaways, which also reserves the right to carry out changes or additions to the rules without notice.
