Problem with new PC

My employer has an intranet that I log into via the internet to input timesheets, expenses etc.
I recently bought a new PC and copied the web address of the intranet and sent it via my Hotmail to my new PC. I can log in OK, but when I clock the link to enter my timesheet, I get a script error and nothing happens.
I was using Windows XP but now am using Windows 8 with Kaspersky internet security (trial version came with PC)
Could Kaspersky be the reason for the problem?
Thanks

Knowing what the exact text of the script error (including any strings of numbers) might help diagnose your problem
Failing that, you may need to seek help from your employer's IT bods. How do I add a signature?0
