Need to replace my VCR as it's old and chewing tapes.
According to what I've read PVR's won't work with cable because they don't have scart input.
My VCR reads it as a channel and I can record channels 1 to 5 from terrestrial and 6 from the ntl / Virgin box. I thought that a PVR would work the same way plus have access to all freeview channels. Anyone tried it?
Or know of a PVR that works with cable?

If you are a Virgin customer, you can not beat their V+ set top box.

I have a Liteon 5025 PVR and record from Virgin cable via scart. No problem at all, highly recommended over VHS.0
