Multiple USB Charger BUT with Same Connector

Hi

Was wondering if anyone has come across a multiple USB charger but with the same connectors, i.e. micro USB

I know you can get 10-1 chargers with 10 different connectors but I was wondering if anyone had come across a similar product but with the same connector (USB micro, specifically), not necessarily 10; 2, 3, 4, etc would be useful.

With two phones which use it and 3 7" tablets which use it it would be really usful to be able to charge them from the same source.

Not exactly sure what you mean...what's wrong with buying another charger for less than £2 delivered from Amazon.

You need the power output to be high enough to cope usually at least 1,000mAh so you really need to plug 5 of them in to the mains if you want them all to charge a the same time. Some chargers may not have the output to cope with your tablets and will take several hours longer to charge.

Had come across things like this and thought wouldn't it be great if you could buy a similar product for multiple micro USB (for example). I assumed that it would need to run off the main to ensure sufficient amps for multiple devices so, maybe my title /description was misleading.

The first one can only handle one device plugged in at any one time....most USB ports can only output so much power.

Even though it says 4 port the power output of the charger can only charge 2 at a time.

It'll happily charge four phones / gadgets at once - you can buy the tips separately so you could have four micro-usb chargers. A bit pricey but does the job.
