dro and credit builder

hi I was accepted for a debt relief order on the 13th march 2013.
I had a credit card with capital one, the secure card.
now im in this dro can I apply for a different type of credit builder card or not, would I be accepted or declined.
as I would like to start rebuilding my credit again.

Hi,
Personally, I think it is far too early to be making actions to improve your credit rating.
You also need to make sure that you do not apply for credit of more than £500 unless you disclose your DRO status.

Tbh I don't think a credit card provider would offer you a card whilst subject to a DRO!

I finished my DRO, cleaned up my credit file and applied for a vanquis 2 months after the end! I use it instead of my debit card and clear it in full every month!

I would suggest waiting til your DRO has ended and you have cleaned up you file
