Three cars is three lots of brake fluid and the tip will take your oil. So I don't see why you need to store it. I'll leave you to it.

have you got a life or are you going to keep on arguing pedantically?

My used engine oil is poured over the bottom of my fence posts, to prevent rot etc. And used brake fluid, just put into the black bin.

Is disposing of it properly too much effort for you?

this, used oil is easily recycled into new oil. the burnt stuff are just removed and new additives added back and its nice, clear and runny out of the bottle again. Not reason to bin it because it just means more crude is processed to make motor oil instead of recycling.

Also the waste mineral oil is probably no good for the soil or vegetation. I hope you or your neighbours dont have any vegetable patches there.

p.s. what happened to using a good old fence spike? no wood is planted under ground and no problem of rotting.

I can dispose of it properly, but putting used engine oil plus container in black bin to take to landfill site is a waste of resource, better to use it as preservative!

We do not recycle anything as council does not provide, as we live miles in country and council policy is to put everything in black bins !:(
