boiler contract

Does anybody have any idea of the best ones. After paying out nearly £500 in 6 weeks to get it fixed it's gone again,( sods law on the coldest day.) and i have decided to go the contract route. It's only 5 years old and was fixed by the plumber who installed it.
Any help appreciated

You're not covered for pre-existing faults. Make and model?
if the same problem has recurred, why aren't you calling back the RGI who supposedly fixed it 6 weeks ago?
    What is the fault?
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

because i have already paid him nearly £500. I just can't afford any more. He has never given me a bill or invoice even when he installed it although i have asked repeatedly for one and i feel he thinks he is onto a soft touch. Frightened now to get anybody else in, hence going for the big firms.
