Hello everyone,
i received a random phone call from this mystery shopping company offering me some work doing video mystery shopping round some car dealerships. i did not know who they were or how they got my number, however i accepted the work in good faith and got on with it.
then they rang me up saying the visits had "failed" and i will not be paid a penny for my work.
now they had not offered me any training for the job and i travelled at my own expense which has left me out of pocket and frustrated.
i have already sent them the final demand earlier this week.
do you think i would have a strong case against them at the small claims court?
regards
Eddie.

Have you got anything in writing from them? Some days you're the dog..... most days you're the tree!

Did they say why the visits had 'failed'?
What guidance did they offer before making visits?0 -
You have a case to be heard...whether it's strong is up to you. If you don't think it's strong then it will fail...but it doesn't always need to be very strong the county court works on the balance of probabilities rather than beyond reasonable doubt.Hello everyone,

Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

i have plenty in writing from them. they say they need the footage to have 70% of the salesman in the frame, however when i asked how they calculate this 70% they could not explain it.
they have paid 2 of the seven visits i completed and after the reviewing the footage it all looks very much of the same standard.0
