Suddenly a load of new Spam

moneybelle

SInce yesterday I have started getting a load of new spam; some calling me by name
And I would love to know who has dumped me in it. I do remember handing over my email address to a retailer the other day and wishing I hadn't.
The senders:
PPI Return ( currently every 10 minutes)
Leading UK Lenders
BestLifeCover
Private Medical Insurance
PPI Claim now
Debt drop UK
Casino Games
Refund PPI
Play games
Card Services (an add for Barclaycard) ... I thought I might contact their customer services to see if they can back track.
Many of the emails are the same but every .com so far is different. The email addresses are , so far
mailers@ ....
@colorfultopics.com @duplexgenerous.com @covermath.com@balanceacquisition.com @choiceprefer.com@drivecontacts.com @bondscapital.com @cabledelicate.com @briefinfusion.com @dataapply.com@choiceelevate.com @dailyintegrated.com@collegeaccord.com @briefingmill.com
Of course i will not bother to unsubscribe. I just wish I new the culprit

This happened to me some years ago.
I subscribed to something from 'New Scientist' and within 24 hours I was getting spammed to death. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
I've adjusted my settings and that seems to have done the trick
Any business who uses these media companies to push their product should realise that it's counter productive.0 -
It may be that your name/address was harvested from a reputable firm you have dealt with.
The best way to control spam is to get your own domain. Then you can use a unique email address for everyone you deal with on line. Then if you get a problem you just block the address that the spam is addressed to.
I got spam addressed to me on my MSE address - now I'm sure Martin hasn't sold my details to spammers:D
