I'm viewing in safari on the iPad at the moment and they are there, I see capital A with a little line above it. No idea what they are!

I checked again and mostly it's fine, but I can see a few of those funny 'A's in post 5 of the magazine dailies thread:

I use Chrome. Wonder if it's just your posts, or whether it's an MSE blip? I'll have quick look at others and if I see anything useful I'll report back.

The A's only appear before a £ sign, and I've only noticed them on the mag posts.

At first it looked like it was for messages that have the pound sign

£££££ (to test), but it does also seem to be a bit more random. Anyway, it looks like it's an MSE thing to me, rather than your posts CP.

Thanks to Blulu and MSE Ian, the problem has now been resolved, and I've gone into the posts and hopefully sorted so it looks normal :rotfl: I've got symbols in front of my eyes now, and could probably crack the Da Vinci Code :rotfl:
