I have used Microsoft money for years but now want to use something else which is more up to date.
The thing I love most about Money is the cash flow forecast, but I cant seem to find any other home finance product that has this available.
Can anyone recommend a good finance package that I could use as Im on a DMP and want to start keeping a tighter reign on things.
Thanks

Which Money recommends Bank Tree or Home Accountz.
I have one of the last versions of MS Money and will continue to use it. What exactly do you mean by more up to date?
Is there something you need that MS Money can't do or are you just thinking that because it's a few years old you should upgrade?
As far as I'm concerned if it ain't broken then don't fix it.One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
Is GNUCash any use to you? It is well-featured and completely free0

I too am interested in this although I have never used Microsoft money. I currently bank with NatWest and being able to import my statements would be very nice.0

Hi,
I'm also after a replacement. I used Microsoft Money 2002 for many years until I could no longer access it - they took away online support (I never used this) and with it took away my remembered password, by which time I'd forgotten it! :-(
I then moved on to Microsoft Sunset (though annoyingly had to start from scratch as my MS Money files were too old and not compatible) and used for a couple of years until...a month or so back it crashes every time I go in to it.
I'm hoping to find some application that is free or at least very good value for money and that will hopefully allow me to import my latest MS Sunset files (.mny or .mbf for backup) so that I don't have to start from scratch again.
Also something that'll allow me to export files from my First Direct accounts, etc. And soon, as I'm already several months behind and haven't a clue what I'm spending on what. After nearly 10 years of keeping track closely it's making me very nervous!
Thanks in advance :-)0 -
I use Home Accountz - it isn't the prettiest software and it does take a bit of time to set up, but it is very flexible once you've understood it and does have the ability to forecast cashflow into the future.0

it installs as english UK version, that link that you quoted does not take me to his blog0 -

I suspect that's what was intended.0
