Changing phone provider but keeping Sky fibre unlimited...

Hello all,
I'm currently on a Sky package that has TV, telephone and fibre broadband. Checking my bill online reveals that I don't seem to get any discount or benefit to being with Sky for all three any more and I'm looking to save money where I can, so I'm looking at switching to a phone provider with a cheaper line rental.
I'm thinking of doing the Talk talk one where you pay the year's rental upfront but I seem to remember that about 6 or 7 years ago Sky said something about I had to have a BT line to have their broadband. If I switch to Talk Talk will I no longer have a 'BT line' (apparently having a line with Sky is still a 'BT line'?) and will that mean I can't have the Sky fibre connection?
Does anyone here have Sky fibre broadband with a Talk Talk or alternative line?
Thanks
- G

You have to have Sky Line Rental to have Sky Fibre Unlimited. You cant have it on a Talk Talk Line.
See FAQ:
"Do I need a phone line for Fibre Unlimited?
Yes, you'll need a residential phone line with Sky Talk calls and Line Rental to get Sky Fibre Unlimited."
But the good news is Sky offer a cheaper line rental deal.
"Sky Line Rental offer
Save £50 when you pay for 12 months line rental upfront, which works out at just £9.95 per month."

Just cut a retention deal with Sky if you are out of contract.
If you are already on a Sky LLU line then a direct move to TT LLU is almost certainly not possible anyway, they'd need to provision a new line.
Sky to TT-from one of the best providers to one of the worst...think again. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
I pay Sky for a year's line rental in advance and it is much cheaper than paying monthly.0
