    Hi,
I have to wash my own work clothes. Am I correct in thinking that I can reclaim tax for this?

    Thank you.
Yes if you have to wash your work place clothes by your own and have to maintain it then you can definitely claim on it and can get up to 60 pounds back.:money:

    Hi,

Please can someone tell me does an employer lose out in any way if an employee claims the tax back this way?

These have to be work clothes with a Logo, not just your jeans and t shirts.

Did you realise that you can only claim the tax paid on around £60 a year, which is £12 a year and can only reclaim 4 years back anyway.
Your tax code would be adjusted for this year and subsequent years.
Apart from the work involved by your employer having to change all tax codes, then no, they don't lose out.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
