Is this insurance fraud?

Hello
Can anyone tell me whats happening with this;
Last week my neighbours car broke down, it was no good and fit for the scrap yard - it wasn't a bad car and not very old but had major issues!
Anyway it's a private hire car - when it's in use.
So yesterday, I saw it smashed to pieces and it had clearly been in a huge crash.
So today brand new car outside, it's to replace this one.
Now this happens every 6-12 months and the new car is retained.
I want to know what scam they are doing and how they manage this, surely their insurance should be so expensive, or they should be refused insurance for this many claims.
 Puzzled.

What makes you think the insurers had paid for the new car?
What makes you think the accident wasn't genuine? We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

Odds are the car was involved in a "non-fault" accident.
The pristine new car outside is probably a "credit hire" replacement taxi which the insurers of the party at fault will be getting billed for at a rate of about £110 per day.
If your neighbour is a creature of habit with this, odds are he will be on the radar of the third party insurers due to the frequency of accidents.0 -
The reason I think this is because, every few weeks the car is damaged.
The guy is always hanging around a garage in a nearby town that looks dodgey.
And because I know someone that was invited into a taxi crash, it took place in a lock up unit and each person sustained injury (pretended) and the taxi driver got a new taxi.
He also has new cars more often than most and he also sells drugs :-/
There was also a lady who worked at the insurer who was involved and made the original plan.
So that's why...0 -
in that case can I suggest you visit https://www.actionfraud.police.uk or http://www.crimestoppers-uk.org/We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.

you actually knew all the details and your OP was some sort of elaborate guessing game? and the frequency of accidents has gone up from "every 6-12 months" to "every few weeks"?
Might I suggest you get a hobby, preferably one that doesn't involve lurking under bridges?0 -
I can't see why it should concern you so much OP, a tad jealous maybe?:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I'm sure if he's actually up to no good the local council licensing department will be interested too.0
