Hi, I'm looking for a cheap belgian cottage for a week in June, perferably in the ardennes area, anyone know any good websites that I could go searching on?

Many Thanks in advance

The most useful site is this one, covering the French-speaking parts. The Ardennes are in Mamur province, I think:

For rural gites in the Flemish-speaking zones (Northern Belgium), try this site (goes as far west as Limburg):

    Underrated place, Belgium.

We've just come back from a trip to France, Belgium and Amsterdam. Belgium was my favourite by far and I can't wait to go back. I'm amazed at how relatively quiet people keep about it.

A few years ago we had a two weeks holiday in La Roche, deep in the heart of the The Ardennes. It's in a beautiful location and also handy if you want to visit Luxembourg , Germany or France. I have found some self catering cottages here :-

Don't be confused by the term "Luxembourg", this part of Belgium goes by that name and has nothing to do with the country a few miles away. Here is some tourist information about the area :-

I managed to piece this together so I thought it might be useful to some to detail how I did my money saving holiday.

2 return coach liverpool to brussels, normally £100.60, used code CSSCTEN (found on this site, thx to poster) for national express gives 10% off, plus 30p quidco cashback, cost £90.24

1 night B&B in Brussels through HotelClub through quidco, £46 for 2 but £15 quidco back (already tracked) - Total cost £31 plus £2 discount on next booking.

4 nights in Vielsalm Sunpark, normal price £134, latebooking £86 (thanks to munstergirl for link).

total holiday price for 2 people £207.

A highly immoral person might then bring back 6kg of tobacco and flog it, thus making a small profit on the holiday but I would never encourage that as its illegal.

Thanks to all who posted links up!
