non-transferable and non-refundable tickets but can't make it because of the weather!

I have pre-booked tickets for ice skating tomorrow and the T&C's state they are non-transferable and non-refundable..

However, we are currently under 2 inches of snow and it's still snowing! The venue is over an hours drive (in good conditions) and I am not sure what the weather is like there (although it says it's snowing there on BBC weather)

Do I have any rights to ask them to change my tickets to another date if I can't make it tomorrow beause of the weather? I'm taking 4 children (3 of which aren't mine) and I really not sure that I want to risk the drive!

    i doubt it!

You accepted the discount on the basis that the tickets could only be used at one set time - if you wanted a more flexible ticket it would no doubt be more expensive.

You can ask them but dont be suprised if they say no.

    Hi

They weren't discounted tickets, they were full price tickets!!
You book in advance to secure going in, not for a discounted price. With us having to travel so far I didn't want to turn up and not gain entry!
