Can I cancel policy early even if made a claim?

As it says in the title, I had a business contents policy that I made one claim on in the middle of the policy. My business closed before the end of the policy and I cancelled it at that time.
Do I have to pay the remaining premiums because of the claim?

Not 100% sure but if it's anything like car insurance then yes, you'll have to pay the remaining premium because of the claim.0

Most will require full payment to allow you to cancel the policy if a claims been made0
