Hi!
I have a laptop that I use for work and wherever I travel to, I have to hard wire my laptop into the main server using a Cat 5 network cable.
The network is patched into data ports which I can also plug into.
There is no wireless at all in the cabinets that hold these servers and I was wondering if I can get a device that plugs into the port I normally plug my laptop into on the server or data port and then either connect wirelessly using Bluetooth or WiFi the this device.
Question is does such a thing exist?
Thanks a lot to anyone who can help!

My OH is good with these technical type things!
He says you need something like this: http://www.expansys.com/p.aspx?i=111307
and to make sure your laptop is wireless compatible.
Or try a wireless router or access point if your company would allow it, as a lot of companies don't like wireless due to the security implications.:j Almost 2 stones gone! :j

you can use a wireless router to plug into the port and create a wireless connection. I think the point that needs addressing though is that your company doesn't want to have a wireless connection and if you create one without their permission you may find yourself in hot water as its a potential security concern.0
